Bloomington, Minnesota will host the Women’s Running Bloomington Half Marathon on Sunday, June 16, 2013. Part of a national series of half marathons
uniquely catered toward women, Women’s Running Half Marathon will start and
finish in Normandale Lake Park.
The Women’s
Running Half Marathon
features a patent-pending two-in-one finisher’s medal and charm, a
technical
race shirt, cheer stations on course and a post-race party featuring a
cookie
café with freshly baked cookies. With tax-free shopping at Mall of
America, wine and gourmet cuisine in the area, participants will be able
to tie the race
into a fun girl’s weekend.
Ramada Airport Bloomington serves as
both the host hotel and the location of a two-day Health and Fitness Expo. The expo
is free and open to the public, and features women-specific apparel and
merchandise, book signings by running celebrities and packet and t-shirt pickup
for runners.

Minneapolis/ St. Paul International Airport makes it easy to arrive, and the
Mall of America is a great place for shopping and entertainment. Our commitment

Half Marathon is open at womenshalfmarathon.com. Standard early registration for the
half marathon is $85 through March 15, 2013.

by Competitor Group, the Women’s Running Series (WRS) is the largest women’s
