Consumer Critique: Signs, Wonders, and a Baptist Preacher

I recently had the chance to read Signs, Wonders and a Baptist Preacher: How Jesus Flipped My World Upside Down by Chad Norris. It was an interesting read - it always is interesting to me to read about someone else's faith journey, since mine was fairly uneventful. He writes about experiences that seem almost too wild to even consider happening - until you realize that they are no different than the things that happened during Jesus time, and why shouldn't they happen now?

The book was easy to read, written in a conversational, storytelling tone. If you like reading testimony, this book is a good fit. If you're looking to be inspired by someone else's journey through darkness and into hope, this book is for you. Don't expect a great theological debate - or even theological statements other than the fact that miracles do happen. But do expect a friendly story about Chad and how he experiences faith.
