Send in as many photos as you want between through May 30th.
Acclaimed chef and world traveler Joanne Weir will lead a panel of
judges to select the finalists. The finalists' photos will be posted to a
Facebook PicYourTrip gallery and the grand prize winner will be chosen
by popular vote. Voting will run from June 6-15. The Grand Prize winner
will receive a trip for two (valued at up to $7,500) to any country
where Village Harvest sources grains.
And rest assured that means
plenty of places from which to "pic". From the Po River Valley in Italy
to the mountains of Peru, Village Harvest travels the globe to offer
authentically-sourced organic and conventional, brown and white
varieties of Jasmine, Basmati and Arborio Rice, as well as popular whole
grains like Quinoa and Farro.
Since 1892, Village Harvest’s
parent company Otis McAllister has been setting the standard of quality
for grains and other products with the highest level of authenticity,
taste and nutrition in mind. From these principles were born their
highest ideal of rice and grains: Village Harvest. In addition to their
authentic line, they also offer precooked whole grain medleys in the
freezer section.
Contest details and official rules can be found on the Facebook page.
