Mother's Day Ideas from Youtube

If you're looking for last-minute ideas (if the earlier posts today didn't inspire you) you can find a ton of great ideas for Mother's Day or other holidays on Youtube. It's not just for surfing cat videos or clips of people microwaving strange things (which my daughter and I did yesterday). You can get some great ideas from it too.
Here are a few links to some easy to execute do-it-yourself ideas from YouTube to make the right gift for mom:
Flowers: Why buy expensive flowers that will die in a few days when you can create your own origami rose, straw flowers or a full Mother's Day bouquet that will last a lifetime. You can even plant your homemade flower in a specially designed flower pot.
Framed Photo: Put her favorite picture in a homemade photo frame.
Meal:  Make a home-cooked meal for mom. Whether you’re a pro looking for new ideas or a newbie looking for instruction, these chefs have you covered.
1. Betty’s Kitchen  - A great resource for Southern cooking who has put together a whole menu for Mothers Day like this delicious looking beet and romaine salad.
2. Divas Can Cook  - Monique cooks delicious “tried and true” recipes like this easy-to-follow black bean corn salad.
3. HilahCooking - Has sweet and savory covered in equal measure like this creme caramel custard or this Mexican Pizza.
4. The Sweetest Vegan - Has sweets all sewn up. A cheesecake or Big Mac gets the vegan treatment with Tasha, who shows that healthy food can be really delicious.
5. Show Me The Curry  - All about Indian deliciousness - curries, dips and savory bites all ready for you to experiment with and learn from.
