2011 US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) report on flat panel TV
safety revealed some startling statistics - between 2000 and 2011, 215 fatalities have resulted from a TV tipping over, and 17,000 people are treated for injuries each year. And the number of injuries is on the rise. Sanus, maker of TV mounts, and Safe Kids Worldwide want parents to be aware of this risk and how easy it is to prevent it.
