Mealtime Magic: Macaroni Variations
If you want to jazz up your macaroni & cheese and make it healthier as well, you have some choices. First of all, instead of using the boxed stuff, just cook noodles and melt chunks of cheddar, mozzarella, or whatever cheeses you'd like over it. You can also add veggies and meets. For example, dice squash, or puree squash, and mix it in. Or add a Mexican flair with salsa, corn, and ground beef. Add pickle relish, mustard, ketchup, and beef for cheeseburger macaroni. The possibilities are endless!
