Consumer Critique: Back-to-School Health Products

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

As parents are gearing up for back-to-school and trying to make sure their kids are best prepared with everything from paper, pencils, and binders, they also want to make sure they kids stay healthy. Here are some back-to-school essentials I recently had the chance to try.

·         Halo Sani-CuffsWhether in the classroom or on the playground at recess, your children are bound to pick up some germs throughout the day. Instead of worrying about yucky bacteria on their little hands just make sure you are encouraging good hygiene! Halo Sani-Cuffs are comfortable, stylish, and collectible hand sanitizer wristbands for kids. They're just $3.99 and are easy to use - fill with the hand sanitizer of your choice, then when your kids need to use it they simply squeeze the bracelet for a small dollop of sanitizer. They're cute, and stretchy, so they'll work for a variety of sizes of wrists. Right now they can only be purchased online. Like Sanicuffsfollow @Halosanicuffs, or visit the Armorteria blog to learn more.
·         USANA supplements: USANA makes a two supplements to keep your kids healthy. Usanimals are cute, tasty daily multivitamins for kids 2-12. You can also get BiOmega Jr. with Omega-3 fatty acids, which supports healthy brain development. Like USANA Health Sciencesfollow @Usanainc, visit What's up USANA, or find USANA Health Sciences on Youtube to learn more.
·         Komplete Ultimate ShakesSome mornings, there just isn’t enough time for a nutritious breakfast before getting on the bus. Kate Farms’ Komplete Ultimate Shakes are dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free, made with organic ingredients and blended with antioxidants and 21 Superfoods. There are so few non-GMO or vegan shakes, and this fits both. Plus, they taste good and come in cocoa fudge, vanilla bliss (which I tried and loved), and jav'a latte. They're available online right now, but are coming soon to a variety of natural and health foods stores. Like Kate Farmsfollow @Kate_Farms, or visit Kate Farms on Pinterest to learn more.
·         Cold-EEZEIt is easy for your child to catch a cold. Cold-EEZE Cold Remedy is clinically proven to shorten the duration of a cold by nearly half and is suitable for kids 12 and older. I've tried it before and it definitely seems to work, plus the taste isn't bad. It comes in spray, lozenges, and quick melts and is available at most major retailers, including grocery stores, drugstores, and mass merchandisers. For me it works well without making me feel extra drowsy or "off." Follow @ColdEeze or Like ColdEEZE for more information.
