Parenting Pointers: No-Cry Sleep Solution

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

If you're struggling with getting your kids to sleep at night, you may hear advice from one of two extremes - cry it out, or comforting your kid as often as necessary. There is a third option, which is available as an enhanced e-book with fourteen videos to accompany chapters, providing a quick summary and advice.

The No-Cry Sleep Method provides a way to get your children to sleep through the night in a calm way, lower stress on mother and child. The author does advocate co-sleeping if that's what works for your family - and I will readily admit that I co-slept with my kids too - although in some circles that's a no-no for supposed increased risk of SIDS (although there are ways to co-sleep safely). It helps you adjust to your baby's natural cues for a gentler way of teaching self-soothing than just letting your baby fuss. It's pretty similar to what I actually did with my kids, although reading these suggestions would have saved me a lot of trial and error on my own!

The book is available for KindleNook, or iOS devices.
