Shopping Savings: VUDU

Walmart's video-on-demand service, VUDU, just launched a new Starter Pack promo where new users can get access to 5 HDX 1080p movies when they sign up with no commitment!

For the next few months, movie lovers can build their digital collection with 5 films at no cost to them just by signing up. While other services offer only free 480p standard definition movies at sign up, VUDU lets users choose from nearly 30 titles in stunning 1080p HD quality including Star Trek, There’s Something About Mary, Man on Fire, Mission ImpossibleCrouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and more. Want to keep building that collection in the cloud? After the first five films, users can pick-up a booster pack and get 3 additional HDX movies for just $15.

The company also recently released an In-Home Disc-to-Digital solution so users can keep building their digital catalogue by converting their beloved DVD & Blu-ray collections to a digital format. Users can try this service for free with a $2 credit. The top films that are getting converted from disc to digital include titles from franchises such as Lord of the Rings, Dark Knight, Harry Potter, and X-Men

With VUDU, users can stream the latest new movies and next day air TV shows on an iPad, Android tablet, PC, internet connected TV, Blu-ray player, XBOX, PS3, or any streaming media device with the VUDU app. Pay for just what you watch with no subscription or late fees.
