Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Do you have a kid who wants to be a firefighter? A new app from Gooseling, Inc lets kids practice with a new app for iPad, iPad Touch, or iPhone. For a limited time, ‘Fire StationCavity Dragons’ is available for free on your Apple device. Children can decorate a fire station with badges, jackets, boots, helmets, and move up and down the pole.

The game and Gooseling, Inc. was created by two moms and sisters, Lisa Danielpour and Vicky Keston who created the company that develops apps to teach social and life skills with video games, which engage children at a higher level than the typical story book approach. Their first app was ‘Cavity Dragons’—an interactive video game was designed to help parents solve the struggle over toothbrushing in kids ages 2-6. The game speaks the language of children, graphically showing them how food feeds cavity dragons with the mission to to both engages kids and help their parents deal with the challenge of getting them interested in brushing their teeth.
