Lift helps its users create training plans to
achieve specific goals. While many use it for health-oriented goals,
there is a new trend of utilizing this app to help remember what the
holiday season is truly all about: gratitude and giving thanks.
In light of this, Lift now has
a plan that helps you to express gratitude a little bit each day. Do it
for the challenge, for all the people and things you are grateful for,
and for yourself!
Day 1: Think of 3 things to be thankful for about your body. Write them down.
Day 2: Think of a family member that you're thankful for and why. Write/text/call them and tell them so.
Day 3: Write down or text to a friend the first three things that pop in your head for which you are thankful.
Day 4: Think of three things about your personality that you are thankful. Reflect on how they make you unique.
Day 5: Make an effort to sincerely thank a stranger (i.e. the barista, the postman, the gas station attendant etc.)
