Amazing Apps: LIFT

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and be grateful for all that we have. Expressing gratitude daily also boosts happiness, and now it's easier than ever to do so with an exciting new app called LIFT.

Lift helps its users create training plans to achieve specific goals. While many use it for health-oriented goals, there is a new trend of utilizing this app to help remember what the holiday season is truly all about: gratitude and giving thanks. 

In light of this, Lift now has a plan that helps you to express gratitude a little bit each day. Do it for the challenge, for all the people and things you are grateful for, and for yourself! 


The first five steps are:


Day 1: Think of 3 things to be thankful for about your body. Write them down.
Day 2: Think of a family member that you're thankful for and why. Write/text/call them and tell them so.
Day 3: Write down or text to a friend the first three things that pop in your head for which you are thankful.
Day 4: Think of three things about your personality that you are thankful. Reflect on how they make you unique.
Day 5: Make an effort to sincerely thank a stranger (i.e. the barista, the postman, the gas station attendant etc.)
