Area Attractions: Universe of Light (Mall of America)

Disclosure: I received complimentary products as a thank you for this post. All opinions are my own.

If you're heading to the Mall of America for holiday shopping, you might want to time it around Universe of Light. This free show is on the south side of Nickelodeon Universe. It's nine minutes long and mixed music and light effects in a really cool show. You can view it from all four levels. If you're on ground floor, you may see some kids playing in the lights that hit the floor - if you're farther up, you'll have a better view of the light streams through the smoke effects. The show does use strobe lights, and the music is somewhat loud - it startled my girls at first. Both really loved it!

You can view the show daily at 7pm. Monday-Thursday it will also take place at 9:30pm, and Friday and Saturday have shows at 10pm.

I unfortunately was too busy watching my kids to snap a pic, but it was definitely neat! It's created by the same company that puts on Disney's Fantasmic show, and is not holiday-specific (although it's a bonus draw during the holiday season).
