I recently posted a giveaway about sweetriot's Indiegogo campaign to launch a new line of snacks. Since then I've gotten to try the chocolate, and I really do hope it's not long before they come up with more products!
I was sent a box of 70% dark chocolate with quinoa. Normally I don't really like dark chocolate, and I wasn't sure the quinoa would work in a chocolate bar, but I was pleasantly surprised by these. The quinoa lightened the intensity of the dark chocolate somewhat, and also provided a nice texture. It wasn't quite as crunchy as a chocolate bar with crisp rice, but it was a good texture. I'll be sharing some with my father-in-law and mother who both love dark chocolate!
The bars are several servings each - perfect for sharing, or for indulging yourself over several meals. It's easy to re-wrap the foil back up over the end of the bar so it stays fresh before the next time - and with as good as chocolate is, that won't be long after you start!
