Caring Causes: Bitsy's Brainfood and Grow Our Kids

This holiday season Bitsy's Brainfood is taking a pledge to end childhood hunger. For every box sold in December, Bitsy’s will donate a box to Grow Our Kids, an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization providing healthy meals to kids who go hungry in the absence of school breakfasts and lunches (often their only meals of the day). So not only can you feed your kids delicious, healthy, veggie-based snacks, you can also make sure less fortunate kids have enough to eat this holiday season.

“We started Bitsy’s Brainfood to help parents everywhere give their kids healthy snacks, so childhood nutrition is central to our company’s mission. That’s why instead of just donating a small percentage of the profits from each sale like some companies do, we are matching our customers’ purchases 100%,” says Bitsy’s Brainfood co-founder Maggie Jones Patton. “This way our customers know that they aren’t just helping their own families when they choose Bitsy’s Brainfood, but giving a helping hand to other parents who struggle to feed their kids during the holidays.”

About Bitsy’s Brainfood

Maggie Jones Patton and Alex Buckley Voris were two moms who shared a simple belief – that health bodies and healthy minds are connected. The two started Bitsy’s Brain Food, bite sized snacks for children packed with good stuff to help support developing bodies and brains. For where to purchase, click here.
