10,000 Days is a book written to help make the last third of your life as fulfilling as it can be. The premise is that life is divided into sets of 10,000 days (give or take depending on how long your life is). It aims to help readers find a higher purpose in their Legacy Years.
As someone younger than the intended audience, I still found it interesting - inspiring me to make the best of my life now, to lay the foundations for a more fulfilling life later as well. I think it would be appropriate for anyone out of the "young adult" stage, whether or not they're nearing retirement.
The 10,000 Days Foundation is a great resource for anyone looking to create fulfilling Legacy Years and provides a helpful blog and self-assessments that can provide great insight. If you're 50+ and just not feeling fulfilled, the book and site are worth checking out.
