Mealtime Magic: Pillsbury Pancake Batter

Disclosure: I received complimentary products as a thank you for this post. All opinions are my own.

Pancakes are the one thing I hate to buy at restaurants - unless they're really fancy specialty pancakes. But when my girls go someplace and just want pancakes with chocolate chips, I cringe at the idea of paying someone else to make what I could do at home. But sometimes it can be a hassle to even make pancakes at home, especially if you've got a bunch of little kids underfoot.

Pillsbury Pancake Batter makes it incredibly easy to have restaurant-quality pancakes at home. It's found by the eggs in stores across the Midwest, including Cub, Lund's/Byerly's, Coborn's, Walmart, and more. Flavors include buttermilk, original, and whole wheat. Then you can top with whatever you'd like to use.

If you want some fun inspirations for pancake toppings, try these favorites from our house (sweet and savory choices):
- berries and cool whip
- chocolate hazelnut butter and bananas
- maple syrup and bacon crumbles
- sprinkles or chocolate chips
- sour cream and chive
- ham and shredded cheese
- yogurt
