Time Tidbits: Simple Ways to Reorganize Your Home after Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite festivals through the year. I always feel excited and joyful while decorating my home for thanksgiving. If you are the person who has much enthusiastic on thanksgiving as I do, you probably have already decorate mostly room in your home. By the time happy hour rolls around, we start to find simple ways to reorganize home after thanksgiving. Let us together to make everything in order after busy thanksgiving.

Dining room
Usually dining room is the place where family and friends gather together and have a feast on Thanksgiving Day. So it must be in a mess after that day. First of all take off all decorations like gratitude banners and wreaths and store them well in storage for next year. Then put away traditional decorative piece like cornucopia centerpiece, pilgrim figurines and fall scented candles, which must appeared on the dining table on Thanksgiving Day. You should all of these decorative items are reusable. Do not just throw them away. Clean up them and keep them in cabinet so that you do not have to buy new ones next year. As to the tablecloth, there is no need to change them if it is not be spoiled. It might be an overwhelming work to clean the whole dining room after thanksgiving, but you should make everything back to normal as soon as possible, because the leftover food would spoil other decorations soon.

The front porch
It might be take your several days to turn your home to normal. After clean up messes in dining room, it is time to reorganize front porch. It is get colder so you should move these potted flowers back to greenhouse Firstly. Then put pumpkins away in your party if they were not carved. Just throw these carved pumpkins that are of little use to you. However, do not hurry to remove fall wreaths from the door if they are still looking great.

Living room
The living room is the main part in your home having fun with your family and friends. In order to make your guests and friends feel more welcomed, you probably already have added many decorations or new furniture to living room. Some of them like throw pillows, area rugs and fall colored flowers should keep them there. While other decorations like family pictures and interesting lighting should be taken off and put them back where you get them.

The hallway
Usually the hallway is the simplest part in your home. So you might not put so many decorations there. It would be easier to turn this place to normal. You can achieve it by putting vases somewhere safe and remove banners and wreaths.

Now your organizing work is almost done. The last thing is make a thorough cleaning. You do not have to do all of them by yourself. Ask some of your family help you doing that. They will happy to help you out.

Enjoying the fruits of your labor, and you still have enough time for prepare Christmas.
