Consumer Critique: Madeline and the Old House in Paris

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

I had no idea that the Madeline books were still being written. Madeline and the Old House in Paris is a recently-published book that stays faithful to the books I remembered growing up. The grandson of the original creator detail a new adventure for the dozen Parisian orphan girls, this time when Lord Cucuface steals a telescope belonging to a long-dead astronomer and disturbs his spirit. Madeline and Pepito must try to help him so that he can rest in peace.

Like all of the Madeline books, it's great for younger kids. It has a cute storyline, great illustrations, and is a nice way to have a non-scary ghost story to read.
