Giveaway: The House on the Cliff

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Jessica Mayhew is an established psychotherapist with two kids and a marriage strained by a recent act of infidelity. Gwydion comes in with a fear of buttons and she gets entangled in a mysterious death involving his father - a noted theatre personality - and their one-time nanny. The conflicts adds to the tension between her husband and herself, and distracts them from the issue of their daughter's relationship with a former client who had a questionable student interaction in his past.

The book weaves these conflicts - marital, mystery, and maturity - together well, throwing in a few other details about the other daughter and another patient, to keep the story moving along. It's a great read that had me shocked at the end, and now I have a chance to give away a copy of The House on the Cliff to one of you.

To enter, leave a comment with your favorite mystery. Deadline is January 8th.
