Amazing Apps: Puff's Playground

One of the most beloved and treasured songs of all time, Puff, the Magic Dragon, and his home in the land called Honalee, has been transformed into the playful and creative Puff’s Playground app by interactive media publisher Fat Red Couch, Inc. Inside the app, the user can create, play games, and solve puzzles. Puff, the Magic Dragon’s Playground is free, with In-App Purchase for additional content for creation and play. It is available for iOS and Android, with versions for Tabeo, Kindle, and NOOK to be released shortly.

Puff, the Magic Dragon’s Playground app features include:

• Creation Cove – A Creativity Center that includes dozens of simple to use, immersive painting, draw, and mixed media collage tools where children can use coloring pages, textures, and stamps derived from the artwork from the original Puff, the Magic Dragon storybook. It also contains a full suite of drawing and painting tools.
• Puzzle Plantation - Solve jigsaw puzzles using images from the original Puff, the Magic Dragon storybook or images created in Creation Cove. Control the difficulty - set the number of pieces, whether the pieces can be rotated, as well as special effects then track your level of improvement – a great tool for children!
• Castle of Concentration - A concentration memory game featuring character art from the original Puff, the Magic Dragon storybook and sound effects.
• Lighthouse of Learning – Lyrics of Puff, the Magic Dragon as well as an overview for the Creation Cove Creativity Center.
• Honalee Trading Post - In-App-Purchases of additional media for the Creation Cove Creativity Center, additional Puzzle images, and more.
