You may have heard of the Sneaky Chef. She has great recipes for getting more veggies into kid-pleasing meals. Now, it's even easier with new products available at Lunds, Byerley's, Cashwise, and Coborn's stores (find other stores using the store locator) - whole wheat pasta with added veggies, pasta sauces that incorporate more than just tomatoes, and no-nut butter made with golden peas for an allergy-friendly, veggie-filled alternative.
The girls wolfed down the pasta and sauce, but I wasn't surprised - they love spaghetti! I was a little more skeptical of the no-nut butter. We've tried other peanut butter alternatives before and it hasn't gone well. They love the real thing! Although this still wasn't quite the real deal, it was eaten a lot more readily than other things we've tried, and when we tried turning them into choco-peanut butter cookies, it was delicious - and nice to add some nutrition to dessert.
I have a chance to give away the no-nut butter, pasta, and sauce. To enter, tweet with hashtag #sneakychef and like The Sneaky Chef. For more tips, you can also follow @sneakychef. Leave a comment with your Tweet link and tip for getting your kids to eat more veggies to enter! Deadline is February 28th.
