Fun Freetime: Activities from Saban and Julius Jr.

Saban Brands today announced its partnership with the Center for Childhood Creativity for its animated preschool series, Julius Jr. The Center for Childhood Creativity, a recognized leader in early childhood development and creative play, has been working closely with Saban Brands to produce a series of “Inventing Time” activities designed for parents and caregivers to use at home and teachers to use in a preschool setting, inspired by the show’s core themes of creativity and teamwork.

Just like the television series, the discussion guides encourage kids to take everyday objects they find around the house and turn them into extraordinary things. They are inspired to build bridges, make musical instruments, create shadow puppets and more. These activities come with a list of open-ended questions for adults to ask children while they are doing the various projects, to enable original thought and the ability to see solutions. Each activity sheet also provides parents with information about what their kids are learning.
