I've been spending time lately review some of the latest DVDs from Tracie Long - part of her Longevity Series. I've gotten to try the first three - Defining Shape, Staying Power, and Step Forward. Each one contains a full 50-minute workout, plus a few mini workout mixes made up of segments from the workout. Fifty minutes sounds like a really long time to be doing a cardiovascular workout, but Tracie mixes it up with brief rest segments, so anyone with moderate to high fitness levels should be able to keep up, but still get a great workout. Beginners can also benefit from these videos by doing part of the workout or the mini segments - or by modifying some of the moves throughout.
I have a chance to give away a set of Tracie Long DVDs. I've loved using them - I like getting a good workout at home. You will need some light equipment (or something equivalent you can use). Volume 1 uses 3 different sets of dumbbells (light to heavy) and a mat; Volume 2 uses a light medicine ball, a set of light dumbbells, and a mat; Volume 3 needs a step and a mat. If you don't have equipment at home you can still do the moves, but they won't be as intense. To enter, leave a comment with your favorite cardiovascular activity by March 14th.
