Paracord was originally used as parachute line in WWII - so it's durable and flexible. It comes in a variety of colors as well, and these traits make it a great option for certain crafts.
Crafting with Paracord has 50 different projects you can make with this great material that really highlight its strength. It's bright enough to make fun bracelets, but also is durable for making handles, leashes, and straps. The book also has tips on knot tying, a really useful skill. It's appropriate for those who like more delicate crafts and those who like the rugged outdoors. Author Chad Poole blogs at unique rope craft and has a knack for collecting and sharing craft ideas. Some of the crafts were easier to follow than others, which happens with pretty much any crafting book. I had never thought about using paracord as a craft supply, but now we've got some fun projects to add to the rotation this summer.
