Consumer Critique: Aloha Also Means Goodbye

I recently read the book Aloha Also Means Goodbye bye Jessica Rosenberg, published by Sandhill Review Press. It was originally published late last fall on Kindle but has since been released on paperback this summer. The book tells the story of Jo, who heads to Hawaii to renew her wedding vows with Jordan - but when she gets there, Andy, a man from her past, is there as well. The book weaves together the relationship Jo has with these two men, and also with her best friends and her mother.

It's a great summer read, fun for a little mental vacation in the summer. It also won a silver medal in the Romance/Erotica category for the 2014 Independent Publisher Regional and Ebook Awards (it is definitely not erotica, so don't shy away from it just because of that category). It's also deeper than a typical "fluff" romance. I enjoyed the book. It's deep enough to be satisfying, but light enough to read quickly and enjoy.

Jessica Rosenberg lives in northern California with her two girls. She blogs at It's Jessica's Life.
