Contest: #SandalScandal

We’re all guilty of holding on to some of our favorite summer footwear staples, but did you know those flimsy flip-flops, sky-high sandals and peep-toe shoes can create a host of health problems, including bunions, blisters, infections, and more serious ankle, hip, and back problems?

 

The good news: summer footwear can be fashionable and foot-friendly if you know what types of shoes to look for! That’s why I’d like to invite you to participate in The American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) #SandalScandal Photo Contest and Giveaway taking place throughout the month of July!

 

APMA is hosting the month-long contest so women have the opportunity to swap out old sandals for a new, fashionable pair that will keep feet healthy and picture-perfect all summer long. To enter, participants can upload a picture of their old, worn-out summer shoes to Facebook or Twitter using hashtag #SandalScandal. We’ll randomly select a winner each Friday through the end of July—so there are plenty of chances to win!

 

Prizes will include:

-          July 4, 11, 18 & 25: Winner’s choice of any pair of APMA-approved sandals from FitFlop or Vionic (that’s up to a $150 value!).

-          August 1: GRAND PRIZE! Winner’s choice of any pair of APMA-approved sandals from FitFlop or Vionic, PLUS a MICRO-Pedi, assortment of nail polish, and moisturizing foot cream.
