Fourth of July Ideas from Baby Mantra

Fourth of July weekend calls for fun-filled time spent with friends and family, usually consisting of patriotic decorations, barbeques, sweets and pool side games. Get to planning a kid-friendly Independence Day party with these awesome ideas from Baby Mantra!

Wind Down
After a long day spent covered in sunscreen and pool water, make sure your little ones go to bed with clean, nourished skin. The Baby Mantra 3-in-1 Bubble Bath, Newborn Shampoo, and Body Wash is made with organic ingredients, is chemical free, toxin free, and dye free. The light scent of lavender and intense moisturization of Aloe Vera will leave your baby calm, relaxed and snuggly soft. Perfect for relaxing into sweet slumber after an action-packed day of celebrating their country.

Red, White, and Crafty
Encourage some poolside creativity with these fun and easy popsicle stick flags! Necessary Materials:
·         Popsicle sticks
·         Red, white, and blue paint
·         Glue
·         White cardstock
·         Star stickers
·         Scissors
With parent supervision, cut three popsicle sticks in half and paint blue. Next, paint three popsicle sticks red and three white. When dry, glue red and white sticks onto cardstock in an alternating pattern, resembling the flag. Next, glue blue sticks in the upper left corner. Add star stickers as desired. For added fun, glue an additional popsicle stick vertically to the back of the cardstock to act as a holder. Kids are sure to enjoy waving their very own American Flag during this years’ fireworks!

Sweet Treats
These cute, America-themed strawberries are easy to make and are sure to be a hit with both kids and adults! To create these sweet treats you’ll need:
·         Strawberries
·         White chocolate chips (12 oz.)
·         Blue sugar or sprinkles
Melt 12 oz. chocolate chips in microwave. One at a time, dip 2/3 of strawberry into melted chocolate, then the bottom 1/3 into blue sugar. Lay on wax paper to harden. Best if served chilled.
