Fun Freetime: When Calls the Heart - The Dance

I wanted to highlight another DVD from When Calls the Heart - The Dance. Produced and directed by Michael Landon Jr. and inspired by the books by Janette Oke, this installment comes from the first two episodes of the TV series (airing on Hallmark Channel). New miners arrive to help with reopening the mine, and one of them has an interest in Elizabeth, the teacher who's come to work in town. But the local Mounty, also interested in Elizabeth, is suspicious of Billy's motives, and of the theft occurring in town.

This whole series has been fun to watch. I read many of the books growing up, and the series stays true to the spirit of the novels, with good family values and well-developed characters who grow and learn throughout the series.
