Smart Safety: Catch 'N' Close for Sliding Doors

There is a new product available from KN CrowderTrack – the Catch ‘N’ Close. This anti-slam product, often used on kitchen drawers, now works on sliding doors – no more sloppy, loud, cumbersome doors. It allows the doors to stay opened/closed automatically – the system automatically self closes/opens as the door travels to the final resting position. Sliding doors now have the ability to deliver more than a swing door; space saving, sleek, and now the self-closing Catch ‘N’ Close system.

I had a chance to interview to learn more.

What are the benefits of anti-slam technology?

How does it work?

• The gas spring technology actually allows the door to self close to its final resting position or to the final opened position
• When you open the door you no longer have to place the door in the open position and the same applies when you close the door. The mechanism actually self closes the last two inches on its own.
