Consumer Critique: Elixir

Disclosure: I received a complimentary e-book to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Elixir is a fast-paced thriller currently available for Kindle, and available in paperback in September. Written by Ted Galdi, it follows fourteen-year-old Sean Malone, who wins a million dollars on Jeopardy and has a genius IQ.

With intrigue, anonymity, and passion involving a love interest, a deadly virus, and the government, the book weaves together a variety of high-octane elements as Sean explores his identity and feelings in the context of current events and his own chilling situation.

The book is certainly intriguing. Galdi incorporates real issues with a sensational story to keep readers interested. By including well-developed characters, he invites emotional involvement into the story as well, allowing readers to connect with the major players in the story in a very real way.

Visit the website for a three-chapter preview, and see if you can't pull yourself away without getting the whole book!
