Consumer Critique: Magic Delivery

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Clete Barrett Smith is the author of the award-winning Intergalactic Bed & Breakfast series. He's written another book, Magic Delivery, which follows Nick Stringer, a smart kid who will keep the grading curve low by throwing his own tests - for a fee. He wrangles an invitation to a Halloween party with one of the most popular kids, and he and his friend stumble upon an abandoned truckload of costumes. There's just one problem - they're bewitched, and the school bullies unleash them on the unsuspecting town.

This is a great book for reluctant male readers. There's lots of action, and the goofy young boys who become the heroes is an appealing theme for many middle schoolers.
