Fun Freetime: Plastic Egg Learning Activity

If you have a bunch of mismatched plastic Easter eggs, you can use them for some great literacy and math activities. Try any of the following combos to have your kids mix, match, and learn.

- Uppercase letters on one half, lowercase on the other half
- Math problems on one half, answers on the other half
- Portions of math problems on one half, numbers on the other half, then the kids have to say the answers
- Letter combos on each half (so kids match to create b/at c/at m/at or do/g do/t do/ll)
- Short foreign language words (English on one half, target language on the other half)

Place all egg halves in a bag and take along for a travel matching and learning activity.
