Julie Hertzog, Director
of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center has focused her career
on bullying prevention. Since she helped create the Center in 2006, she
is committed to vanquishing the
notion that bullying is an accepted childhood rite of passage and has
provided parents and educators with countless pieces of advice for
dealing with this often traumatic experience.
I had a chance to interview her about the #BTProject, a great initiative to encourage healthy self-esteem and a tool that can be used to start dialogue with kids and parents or teachers about bullying.
