Giveaway: The Equation of Life

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Gerry Orz, an advocate in the anti-bullying movement, directed The Equation of Life at the ripe old age of 11. It's based on a film he uploaded to YouTube, and is directed at anyone with school-age children to help spread the message about being thoughtfully and responsible in our interactions with each other.

This film tackles an important issue, with nearly three-quarters of students saying they've witnessed bullying. It's the most common form of violence experienced by young people at this point in time. The film won Merit Awards from Accolade and IndieFest. Because it's created by a kid, it will resonate with others in a way that a message from adults may not.

Words + Actions = Consequences. An important equation for anyone to recognize.

If you're interested in receiving a copy, leave a comment with how you talk about bullying with your kids. Deadline is October 10th.
