Mealtime Magic: Pillsbury Bake-Off Finalist Recipes

October is National Dessert Month, and I have the chance to share some great recipes from the Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest. Follow the links for some delicious treats!
 
National Dessert Month (October)
·         Bacon-Peanut Butter Chocolate Fries – This sweet treat combines bacon, special peanut butter and chocolate.
·         Hummingbird Macaroons – These tropical sugar cookies with pineapple, bananas, coconut and nuts are a great dessert anytime.
·         Hot Chocolate-Marshmallow Cookies – These tasty treats have a melty marshmallow center. 
·         Chocolate-Peanut Butter-Bacon Tartlets –Chocolate, peanut butter and bacon are used in these flavorsome tartlets.
·         Toffee and Almond Fudge Cookie Cups – These candy cookies are a perfect addition to any dessert tray. 
·         Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie “Ice Cream” Sandwiches – Gluten-free treats like these are the perfect sweet stash for your freezer. 
·         Chocolate Hazelnut-Toffee Bread Pudding with Candied Bacon – This dessert features candied bacon and sweet cinnamon rolls drenched in a gooey sauce.
 
About the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest
Come November 3, the 100 finalists will touch down at the Omni Nashville Hotel to compete for the iconic $1 million Grand Prize in the 47th Pillsbury Bake-Off® Contest.
 
What’s new?                                                      
  • For the first time, America’s vote will be combined with the judges’ decisions to determine the Grand Prize Winner.
  • The Contest ingredient list has been expanded to include Pillsbury’s Gluten Free line of products.
    • Judges will award the Pillsbury® Gluten Free Award to the Finalist with the best recipe which uses a Pillsbury® Gluten Free product and does not contain wheat or any products that include wheat as an ingredient.
  • The Bake-Off® Contest now features four recipe categories – Amazing Doable Dinners, Savory Snacks & Sides, Simply Sweet Treats and Weekend Breakfast Wows.
