Gary Chapman, author of The 5 Love Languages, teams up with Arlene Pellicane in Growing Up Social: Raising Relational Kids in a Screen-Driven World. This is a very timely book, with an excellent focus. Unlike other books that may look at just the safety aspect, or the appropriate use of social media - both of which are important - this book specifically looks at building relationships.

So much in this book resonates with the way my husband and I try to raise our kids. They're too young for social media at this point, but already have plenty of experience with screens, and it's a good reminder for my husband and myself as well in terms of appropriate use of screens and setting good examples.
