Baking soda can be used for a ton of things. I recently got a box from Smiley360 and Arm & Hammer to share tips.
Obviously, it can be used in baking. But I've also used it to help scour out the stove instead of a smelly chemical cleaner. In a pinch it makes decent toothpaste (although the taste is tricky to deal with). It makes a great deodorizer for smelly garbage cans and laundry rooms, and can also help absorb things like oil spills out of carpet.
