Consumer Critique: A Rant of Ravens

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

A Rant of Ravens is book one in a mystery series by award-winning author Christine Goff. The book has a fun birdwatching theme, and starts off with graphic designer Rachel Wilder Stanhope recovering from catching her husband with another woman. She returns to Bird Haven, a bird sanctuary in Colorado owned by her Aunt Miriam in Colorado. She agrees to host meetings of the local bird watching society, but finds a dead body on the first outing.

The book is easy to read - a quick, light weekend story. You don't have to enjoy birdwatching or nature to enjoy the book, but the backdrop certainly did add to my interest. The heroine is strong and still human, unraveling the mystery of a bird trafficking plot.
You can find the book on Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
