Fun Freetime: CTC Season Kickoff

Children’s Theatre Company’s (2003 Tony Award®, Outstanding Regional Theatre recipient) 50^th Anniversary Season includes five world premieres with national and international artists including Director Charles Randolph-Wright (Motown the Musical), Italian Puppetry Master Fabrizio Montecchi (Teatro del Gioco),  post-modern dance choreographer Ann Carlson, Chicago Director Rachel Rockwell, and Broadway Producer Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q, In the Heights) to name a few, working on huge hit names, from Diary of a Wimpy Kid to Akeelah and the Bee. To kick off this luminous season, CTC will host a large scale, free event at the Twins Baseball stadium (Target Field, August 9th) that will include a viewing of the film of Tony-nominated A Year with Frog and Toad, produced by Bob Boyette. This will be the largest event held by a Minnesota arts organization.
