Thrifty Thinking: Taxes and Personal Finance

Personal finance columnist and best-selling author Patrice C. Washington built her fortune, lost it all in the recession and then reinvented herself to gain it all back once again.

I had a chance to interview Patrice about tax and personal finance questions.

As April 15th slowly approaches, it becomes that dreaded time of year again. That time where American’s across the country scramble to get their taxes in order. This year, tax season doesn’t have to be the death of your finances. Instead it can be a time to evaluate your spending habits and also find out whether you and your family are eligible for free tax services.
