The FTC has two new videos available. Hacked Email: What to Do and Hijacked Computer: What to Do walk you through the steps you can take if your email gets hacked or malware hijacks your computer. They’re available in English and Spanish.

Once you know what to do when malware strikes, you also might be interested in what to do before a hijack happens. The FTC’s recently released Back It Up: Don’t Lose Your Digital Life shows that the way to make sure you won’t lose everything from tax forms to photos is to back up your computer regularly.
