Book Nook: Anna Banana (First Second Books)

Sleep Tight, Anna Banana  and Anna Banana and the Chocolate Explosion are cute picture books that have adorable illustrations, easy-to-follow stories, and humor that's appropriate for kids. They're fun to read to kids, and they're written at a level that early readers can follow on their own as well. The first Anna Banana book was the first picture book published by First Second, who have traditionally published comic-book style books. This book still has elements of that, with speech bubbles and segmented pictures. It has a cute look that packs a lot of story with minimal words.
