Book Nook: Paper Jewelry - 55 Projects for Reusing Paper

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of Paper Jewelry: 55 Projects for Reusing Paper. The book has appropriately detailed instructions, templates to use for some projects, and great close-up shots of finished jewelry. Necklaces, brooches, earrings, bracelets, and even hair accessories are the projects included in this book. There's also a wide variety of paper types represented - maps, magazines, puzzle pieces, cigarette filters, candy wrappers, and more. Projects include subtle and sophisticated ideas, and contemporary and flashy designs. There are some projects that my daughter is able to do, and some that are too advanced even for me (but I'm not really a good crafter). We've had fun with the ones we've done so far. The puzzle piece necklace was a perfect way to use a puzzle that has some missing pieces, as well as show off a hobby creatively. I also geeked out a little bit - throughout the book there are German books pictured in addition to English books, and that's always something my daughter and I notice.
