Fun Freetime: August Issue of Story Monsters Ink

Welcome to the August issue of Story Monsters Ink! I can think of no one better to help us celebrate our one-year anniversary than Genevieve and DC from Disney Junior's Choo Choo Soul! Time flies when you’re having fun, and we certainly do have fun here at Five Star Publications! What started out as an idea for a newsletter has turned into a major magazine with subscribers across the globe, advertisers clamoring to get a spot in each issue and featured interviews with authors and performers who have made significant marks in the literary world, such as Rosemary Wells, Garcelle Beauvais, Sebastian A. Jones, Claudine Pepin, NASA Astronaut Jerry L. Ross, Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Jean Louisa Kelly, Lisa Jakub, Barbara Bottner, Caroll Spinney … the list goes on and on! We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy creating it!

Also in this issue, we meet Mercer Mayer, author and illustrator of the Little Critter book series, graphic designer Christian Boer, who has created a new font designed to make it easier for dyslexics to identify individual letters and read words, and authors Donna LeBlanc and Carole P. Roman, who inspire imagination through their books. Our super science and nature editor Conrad J.
