Amazing Apps: Flare Kids

Cox Communications just launched Flare Kids, a FREE app that allows families to search for and discover the most popular child-friendly video content available online. Designed for children between the ages of 3-8 years, Flare Kids includes superior parental controls to manage the content and the time children view their favorite entertainment. The Flare Kids app is available in the App Store and works with any broadband connection and an iPad, with more devices to be added in the future.

Once parents download the Flare Kids app, they are prompted to create profiles for each child and are then able to customize the web content that each profile can access. Additionally, parents can set up time increments that a child is able to watch daily, as well as monitor the shows they have viewed.
