Caring Causes: Reasons to Smile - Special Stories

Elizabeth Martins, is the co-founder of a project called Reasons to Smile: Special Stories. The goal of the project is to create a series of books and also a website where people can share and read stories about life with special needs. The idea of the project is to create a platform for people to share their experiences and to be inspired by others. They want others to feel strengthened by the power of community and the written word.

The inaugural book is titled Reasons to Smile: Celebrating People Living with Down Syndrome and it will be released January 2016. The next books will focus on different themes. The goal of their first Kickstarter launch is to create a website where we can continue sharing stories beyond the printed word.
