This is a story for the entire family to learn more about people in the Bible and see their connection to Jesus. Included in the book are activities, cut-out ornaments to hang on your Jesse tree and with each story comes a better understanding of what Christmas is really about.

I really like the idea of a Jesse tree. Many people know the story of Christmas, but not much attention is played to the overall narrative of how Christmas fits in with the Old Testament. Jesse trees help bring the whole story to life. This book, which I got to review, takes the tradition and will work as a wonderful family devotional with our two kids during the Advent season, to help us prepare our hearts for Christmas.
