Fun Freetime: Owlegories Preview Weekend

Spy House Productions and Gundersen Entertainment announce today the highly-anticipated release of the next volume of Owlegories™, the all new gospel-centered animated DVD series and interactive digital app that teaches kids about God through the amazing things found in nature and revealed in God’s Word. The second installment from the much-loved Owlegories series featuring lessons in faith and fun, Owlegories™ Vol. 2 – The Ant, The Fruit, The Butterfly will be available Jan. 26 at LifeWay Christian Stores, Family Christian Stores, Mardel and many other independent Christian bookstores, in addition to online retailers including Amazon.com  and more, all through Capitol Christian Distribution.

Following the successful launch of the Owlegories series last fall, Owlegories Vol. 2 – The Ant, The Fruit , The Butterfly brings to life lessons based on Scripture about hard work (Prov. 6:6), the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) and true freedom (2 Corinthians 5:17). Volume 2 also includes a special message after each episode from Author/Speaker Trillia Newbell (The Ant), Author/Blogger Angie Smith (The Fruit) and Dallas-based Gateway Church Senior Pastor Robert Morris (The Butterfly), and introduces for the first time – the brand new Owlegories song, “God Made Lots of Things.”  This original song was written by Owlegories Co-writer/Co-director Keith Alcorn (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, The Ant Bully) with music by award-winning Film Composer/Producer Mark Menza (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Dragon Ball GT, Beet and Wishbone).

Episode 1: The Ant: The student owls are sent on assignment to a maple syrup farm with a group of ants. The owls must work together to accomplish their mission and learn three ways followers of Christ should be like the ant.
Episode 2: The Fruit: The Professor sends the kids to an apple orchard on a special assignment. There they must find trees that produce good fruit and discover the nine Fruit of the Spirit mentioned in the Bible.
Episode 3: The Butterfly: The students must overcome their fear of bugs as they go on a mission to find caterpillars around their school. Along the way, the owls learn about metamorphosis and the three ways a follower of Christ is like a caterpillar.
