Everyone grieves and copes with loss differently. For cardiologist W.B. Ross, he began writing after his daughter died of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In his book The Judgment of Beatrice, he decided to create a completely new vision of heaven and hell. Beatrice led a very unusual life, and had an even more unusual afterlife. It's a very interesting story to read. None of us absolutely know for sure what happens after death, we can only rely on what we think or what our faith tells us. So I always think it's interesting to read different concepts of the afterlife, just because there is so much uncertainty.
