World Wisdom: Green Cleaning is Frugal Cleaning

http://assets.inhabitat.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2016/02/Green-DIY-Cleaning-Products.jpg Green cleaning has increased its followers in the past years. Many people turn to green cleaning for different reasons, but the results are always the same – once you go green, you will never go back to chemicals. Green cleaning is a much much better alternative to cleaning with store bought, chemical-induced cleaning products.

The people who have switched to green cleaning are now enjoying their chemicals-free homes. Green cleaning is safe not just for the environment and your home, but also for your family, kids, pets and yourself. Why would anyone want to use chemicals to clean their homes, when you can use other safe products that do just as good job, but are not any potential threat to your health.

Another huge benefit of green cleaning is that it is very frugal and budget friendly. If you switch to green cleaning, the products you will need to buy to make your own eco friendly cleaning products will last you a very long time. You can use them to make yourself cleaning products any time you want.

And there is a pretty much small number of ingredients that you are going to need for most of the cleaning products. There are basic ingredients, such as – white vinegar, baking soda, dish soap/castile soap, essential oils, lemon juice, salt. And there are some other additional like borax or citrus fruit peels, etc.

Lawn Mowing Finchley can even give you some exemplary recipes for some often used cleaning products, just so you see how easy it is to do them, if that worries you.

All-purpose cleaner:
Ingredients – 3:1 cups of water and white distilled vinegar, 10-15 drops of essential oil, the scent is all up to you, there is a wide variety of aromas, choose one that pleases you the most.

Put the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. And that's it! See how easy and quick it is! And you can use this mixture to clean your kitchen appliances, kitchen counter, table, etc. It costs almost nothing to make and will clean almost any surface in your home! What store-bought cleaners does that? And at the same time is safe for the planet and your health?

What is more, you can also use a wide variety of frugal products to disinfect your home as well, not just to clean. For example hydrogen peroxide – it is the perfect solution for disinfection. It kills germs and can be used on a variety of surfaces as well – ideal for the bathroom. It can also help you get rid of some stains on your clothing.

And my favourite frugal ingredient is baking soda. It just does magic and is so versatile! You can use it as an ingredient in all kinds of spray cleaners, you can use it to deodorise your entire home – refrigerator, carpets, pantries, fabric upholstery, etc. And what you can also do is, mix it with some water (or white vinegar) to form a paste, and you can use it to ideally clean and degrease your entire oven! Make the paste, spread it inside your oven and leave it sit for a while. Then simply scrub with a sponge and rinse. And you have yourself a sparkling clean oven! How easy was that! And all you had to use was some water and baking soda!

Go ahead and ditch your store-bought cleaning products now. Buy yourself some essential oils (sure, they are a bit more expensive, but all you need is a few drops, so they will last you a long time), white vinegar and borax (sometimes you can include it too), and make yourself some eco and health friendly cleaning products, and save your money. I assure you your home will be thankful to you for the care you are giving it. And you will be decreasing your monthly cleaning budget A LOT!
